Database Repair.

Reindexing your Data.

Important!

1.  Ensure that you have a backup of your system before running any database repair routines. 

2.  Ensure that no users are logged on while database repair routines are running.

3.  Please note that reindexing your data can take a long time depending on the size of your database, network connections and bandwidth.

Process

1. Log onto your system with Manager rights.

2. Go to Tools/Database Management/Database Maintenance.

3. In the Database Maintenance window, ensure that Main TCHub System has a tick against it and the Reindex tick box is checked.

4. Click the green tick at bottom right of the Database maintenance window, and Yes to Proceed with Maintenance?

5. The Foxfix utility will run and reindex your data.  When it is complete it will display a log file in Notepad which you close.

6. Click the red cross at bottom right of the Database maintenance window to return to the main system.

NOTE:  These notes do NOT apply to SQL Server systems.
