Formidable must be the simplest and most user friendly mobile data solution available today.
Based on two tried and tested technologies, Anoto digital pen and paper and the mobile phone network, Formidable allows you to send completed forms from wherever you are working to your back office system in as little as 20 seconds.
Formidable digital pen and paper consists of a pen with a miniature camera built in and a special pattern of dots printed on to ordinary paper. As you complete a form, the camera takes 75 pictures a second, capturing and storing your pen strokes as you write.
When you've finished, simply tick the Send box on the form, and everything is sent straight back to your server in 20-30 seconds. Once there, a PDF image of the original form is produced, and handwriting is converted to machine readable text. From here, the data can be seamlessly integrated into your existing back office system, or Ravensfield can supply a bespoke solution for you.
Because it is based around such everyday items as pen, paper and mobile phone, Formidable can be deployed very quickly. Very little user training is required, and user acceptance levels are very high.
